About Us

Taylormade is a young and forward thinking company that provides not only high quality guarding services but also security consultancy and investigation services for a wide range of clients large and small.

Our directors have many years experience in security and investigation and we have the capability to operate at any level across the entire security and investigation spectrum.

Taylormade was founded in 2001 by Steve Taylor after a substantial career with Kent County Constabulary.

We have particular expertise in the maritime (dock) security area and are fully briefed on the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS)

Although primarily suppliers of security services, we have maintained our links with the private investigation industry, and have a national capability through our association with London House Services Ltd - a leading investigations company with 37 regional offices across the UK

Taylormade sees itself as an important part of the local economy. We are based in Chatham, central to our client base, and firmly believe that, where possible, it is important to recruit people from an area local to a particular site, both for their local knowledge and the assumption of 'ownership' for the site's security.
